Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The CHC50221 Diploma of School Age Education and Care is a 12-to-24-month qualification for those wishing to lead an education and care program for children outside of the school environment. Through the Diploma qualification, you will learn what it means to provide a program for school age children and work in a position of responsibility.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of an Australian Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Students are required to pass a Working with Children/ Vulnerable People Check (including Police Clearance) in the state or territory that they are working in prior to commencing work placement.
