First Aid Course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The First Aid (Level 2) course focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to provide a first aid response to a casualty in a workplace environment. The First Aid course includes CPR (HLTAID009 provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training. The first aid course provides students with the skills and knowledge to recognise, respond to and manage an emergency medical situation.
Recommended for First Aid Officers responsible for the provision of First Aid in the workplace, employees working in high risk industries such as manufacturing, construction or childcare, volunteers involved with sporting events, children or the elderly. Safety Systems Pty Ltd recommends in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council, CPR retraining every year and First Aid retraining every 3 years.
