First Aid Plus
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)First Aid Plus is a 4-unit comprehensive course that provides information on CPR, emergency procedures, and first aid not just for adults but also for infants and young children. This extensive course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide first aid + CPR in almost any emergency situation. Our trainers are professional instructors who are 100% committed to training students in current practices, procedures, and equipment. You will undertake hands-on learning of methods that can save the life of a loved one, colleague, or the general public in a safe and comfortable environment.
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) procedures are based on the ARC (Australian Resuscitation Council) guidelines.
This course includes the following units of competency:
- HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID010 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
