General Construction White Card
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our General Construction Induction White Card (also known as White Card, or Construction card), provides you with practical skills and knowledge required for you to get your career started in the construction industry. From getting your White Card to starting an apprenticeship, ASTRA can get you started.ASTRA’s White Card construction course covers the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.
You will learn the skills to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of work health and safety requirements to work safe and prevent injury or harm to you and others.
You will learn general construction hazards, get an understanding on basic risk control measures, following procedures, and responding to potential (simulated) incidents and emergencies.
It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.
