Graduate Diploma of Health (Perinatal Mental Health)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationPropel your career and specialise in a new and rewarding field of perinatal and infant health. Work with families in community and institutional settings during a challenging time of transition.
Co-designed and co-developed in partnership with Gidget Foundation Australia (GFA), this course equips clinicians with the skills to support the mental health of women and their families throughout the perinatal period. By integrating the expertise of both perinatal mental health professionals and academics, students gain access to contemporary knowledge, excellence in education, and high-quality supervision.
The curriculum explores key topics such as the normal psychological adjustment to pregnancy and parenting, infant development, and the identification, screening, and management of perinatal mental health conditions.
