Heavy Combination Licence (MR to HC)

This accredited VicRoads course is designed for drivers seeking to upgrade their licence to obtain a Heavy Combination Vehicle Licence. A Heavy Combination vehicle is described as a Prime Mover/Single Semi, or Heavy Rigid plus trailer greater than 9 tonne GVM. 

*** Course duration and costs do not at any time guarantee that the "On-road" Licence assessment will occur. Students MUST firstly meet all competency requirements, if not, training will continue for the duration of the course and the assessment will be scheduled at an alternate time and additional costs will apply. ***

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Participants must:

  • Hold a current Victorian Motor Car Licence.
  • Have held their car licence for a minimum of 24 months, including a MR or HR licence for at least 12 months.
