Generalist psychologists are equipped to practice in a broad range of employment settings, including allied health, aged care and disability services, education and private practice. They treat people with mental health problems but also seek to understand how factors such as personality, society and culture affect behaviour and provide counselling that can help people from all walks of life lead happier, healthier and more productive lives.

In a single year of study, the Master of Professional Psychology provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills you need to complete a final, sixth year of supervised placement and gain registration as a generalist psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
