Master of Teaching (Secondary)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThis is a postgraduate professional qualification to teach in secondary schools, giving you the opportunity to specialise in humanities and social sciences, mathematics or science. Specialise in either one or two teaching areas at secondary education level, depending on your areas of interest.
The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will provide you with the confidence, knowledge and skills required in the teaching profession.
You will complete core units in education and curriculum in addition to professional units of study. You will have the option to specialise in either one or two teaching areas at secondary education level, including:
- science
- mathematics
- music
- languages
- health and physical education
You will also complete practicum placements and a final capstone project comprising an internship in a secondary education setting.
