Operate Truck or Trailer Mounted Attenuators
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)In this course, you will gain the ability to operate a truck or trailer-mounted attenuator on at least two occasions at three different road sites, at least one of which will be a mobile or progressively moving work situation.
In this course, you will acquire essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including checking truck and attenuator controls for serviceability, positioning traffic controls, conducting thorough pre-operational checks on trucks and attenuators, performing risk assessment and management, applying National Guidelines and Standards, and communicating effectively to receive and clarify work instructions. These skills are vital for success in the field and will equip you for a rewarding career in the industry.
