Perform rescue from live low voltage panel

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

The Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) course covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace.

This program is delivered as either an Initial or Refresher Delivery subject to the participants’ currency levels and prior LV rescue certification history.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and
  • UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace or
  • UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
