Perform Restricted Diving for Scientific Purposes

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to support a diving expedition for scientific research, monitoring and inspection using self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) for both air and enriched air nitrox (EANx) breathing gases. The unit applies to individuals who work under broad direction and use discretion and judgement in the selection and use of available resources.
