Provide basic emergency life support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)After successful competition of the unit student will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
