Provide basic emergency life support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Also delivered in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, this training course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency situation at home or while out and about.
You will learn to provide life support and the management of a casualty of any age until the arrival of medical assistance.
As well as learning to respond to an unconscious casualty, this course will outline the chain of survival, DRSABCD action plan, and will deliver the skills required to use an automated external defibrillator.
