Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This CPR first aid course will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest. Content is based on Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. Learners may be completing CPR for the first time or as an annual requalification. The CPR course is valid for 12 months and will need to be updated each year to keep the certification current. The identified target groups for the unit are broad ranging, from those who are required to provide an emergency first aid response in a workplace, to those that think it might come in handy in their daily lives. For many candidates it is a requirement to gain or maintain employment.
