Provide Facial Treatments and Skin Care Recommendations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is designed for those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to establish priorities with clients, synthesise knowledge of anatomy and physiology, skin science, cosmetic chemistry and nutrition, and to design and provide facial routines and advice on products and protection of facial skin. The course covers knowledge and techniques preparing the client and work area for service, identifying contra-indications, identify the different skin types, skin conditions and skin diseases, disorders, performing standard facial treatments (include: pre-cleanse, skin analysis, exfoliation, extraction, facial massage, mask therapy and tone & moisturising) and providing aftercare and home care advice.
