Provide First Aid
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Provide First Aid HLTAID011 is a comprehensive course that will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to help an ill or injured person until emergency help arrives. You will learn the DRSABCD action plan as well as resuscitation, defibrillation, asthma, anaphylaxis and the management of various injuries and illnesses.
First Aid is the initial assistance or care of a suddenly sick or injured person. It is the care a person applies as soon as possible after an accident or sudden illness. Applying first aid aims to preserve life, protect the casualty from further harm, provide pain relief, prevent the illness/injury from getting worse and provide reassurance to the person.
