Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)If you are looking to work within the hospitality sector at a licensed venue environment in Queensland, it is a mandatory requirement that you hold a competency in SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
This unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises, such as bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries.
Students will learn under the guidance of the very best qualified and professional trainers.
Within this nationally accredited skill set, students will gain an understanding about their obligations under the law and the effects that alcohol has on the body. They’ll also learn how to advise patrons on standard drinks, assist customers to drink within appropriate limits, assess and monitor the levels of intoxication in patrons and identify and effectively manage customers to whom sale or service must be refused.
