Designed for workers and Emergency Response Teams, this course provides participants with the skills and knowledge needed to identify, monitor, and safely manage HAZMAT emergencies on-site.
Combining essential theory with hands-on practical training, the course covers assessing incident scenes for hazards, selecting, wearing, and testing protective clothing such as splash and gas-tight suits, identifying and safely handling hazardous materials, establishing hazard control and decontamination zones, managing confinement or containment strategies, executing decontamination processes, and performing rescue procedures in simulated HAZMAT scenarios.
