White Card
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)A White Card is your ticket to a career in the construction industry which upon successful completion of the General construction Induction Training (GCIT) is issued to you by NT Worksafe through the Territory Business Centre. A White Card is a legal requirement for all construction professionals. Any person who visits or works on a construction site is required by NT Worksafe to present proof of completion of a general Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) construction training course.(GCIT)
White Card training — also known as construction induction training — is the only way to attain a verified White Card, which is mandatory evidence you must show to be able to work on a construction site. Training teaches students health and safety requirements on work sites, how to identify and manage risk, and injury prevention skills. Our course trainers provide white card induction training that is backed up by industry experience.
