White Card
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Under WHS legislation, workers on construction sites in Australia must undertake general induction or “white card training” and carry evidence when working on a construction site. This training provides participants with a common understanding of WHS principles and practices used on generic building, construction and civil sites.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Learners must be able to speak, read and understand basic English to communicate to a safe level.
- Learners must be a minimum of 18 years to participate.
- Learners must provide photo identification upon enrolment in the course (e.g. driver’s licence; passport or proof of age card).
- Learners must wear a long sleeve shirt, steel capped boots and long trousers.
- Learners must have a unique student identifier (USI) to obtain their nationally accredited certificate or qualification.
