About International School of Colour and Design

ISCD (International School of Colour and Design) has been shaping the future of interior design since 1983. Originally founded as The School of Colour and Design by Prudence Royle and Eva Fay – two trailblazers in Australia’s interior design scene – ISCD began from the Cammeray Community Centre on Sydney’s North Shore.

By 1995, Prudence Royle, now the sole owner, expanded ISCD’s vision, opening campuses across Sydney and earning international recognition for excellence in design education. It was during this transformation that the “International” in ISCD was added to reflect its growing global reputation. The establishment of The Spectrum Gallery – Australia’s first public exhibition space dedicated to interior design – cemented ISCD’s role in the design industry.
