Board Member

Board Members (otherwise known as committee members) are responsible for the corporate governance of an organisation. They appoint a CEO, Managing Director or General Manager to oversee the operations of the company (within an approved budget).

As a Board Member you’ll be part of the executive committee and answerable to the organisation’s members or shareholders. Your duties will include attending meetings, participating in strategic planning, monitoring the organisation’s financial position and profitability, directing the CEO or General Manager.
