Construction Supervisor careers
A Construction Supervisor oversees the work being done on a building or construction project. You’ll make sure the job is progressing as it should and plan ahead for the next stages of the project. You’ll make sure all necessary materials are on site when needed and organise essential workers and tradespeople. A Construction Supervisor ensures all safety requirements are being met and any necessary administration tasks are taken care of.
Construction Supervisors need to have strong leadership skills and be good communicators. You’ll usually be supervising several tasks at once so you’ll need be excellent at multitasking. Time management is crucial and it’s important that you’re highly organised. Construction Supervisors often start work early in the morning and will sometimes work very long days.
