Pharmacy Technician

A Pharmacy Technician assists with the filling of customer prescriptions at a pharmacy. You’ll work under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist and your duties may include preparing medications and ensuring they are correctly labelled. Pharmacy Technicians might also check stock levels of pharmaceutical products and order new products when required.

Pharmacy Technicians need to have excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills. You’ll need to be able to communicate well with customers and colleagues and follow correct procedures. Pharmacy Technicians should have a thorough understanding of pharmacy legislation and an excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products.
