Technical Lead

A Technical Lead coordinates the development and maintenance of information technology systems. You might work for the IT department of a large organisation or be employed as an external consultant. Technical Leads might oversee the implementation of a new project, manage existing IT systems or provide advice on information technology requirements.

Technical Leads should be able to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders. It’s important you can understand IT needs and develop systems for a range of circumstances. Technical Leads must be organised and able to manage several tasks at one time.
