Certificate II in Salon Assistant
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification provides a range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who assist with providing client services. It will allow you to work as a Salon Assistant and prepare you for further training as a hairdresser.
Completing this course will result in learning basic hairdressing tasks including providing shampoo and basin services. In addition, you will learn how to maintain and organise equipment, braid hair and operate the front desk in either a hairdressing salon or a retail environment.
