Certificate II in Salon Assistant
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)In this course, you’ll get an overview of the hairdressing industry and lots of opportunities to acquire practical skills in undertaking routine hairdressing tasks under direct supervision from a Senior Hairdresser or Stylist. You’ll gain valuable experiencing in greeting and preparing clients for salon services, shampooing and drying hair to shape, and developing your knowledge of the hairdressing industry and relevant workplace safety procedures. You’ll also get experience in conducting salon financial transactions and contributing to your own and others’ health and safety through maintaining and organising tools, equipment and work areas.
