Certificate II in Salon Assistant
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This is a preparatory qualification which provides a defined and limited range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who provide assistance with client services. These routine and repetitive tasks are completed under direct supervision and with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.
The combined skills and knowledge do not provide for a job outcome as a hairdresser and this qualification is intended to prepare individuals for further training.

About The Hair and Beauty Academy
The Hair and Beauty Academy is a training college passionate about providing the best possible training to students studying for the hair and beauty workplace. We provide a ‘hands-on’ approach to learning, with all students completing considerable practical assessments in addition to their theory learning.
hba offers hairdressing, beauty, barbering and nail technology courses at the Academy, situated in the heart of Penrith CBD. All classes are 9-5 and we follow the NSW Public School Calendar. All day parking is nearby, we’re also just a short walk from Penrith train and bus services.
