This qualification allows individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required to work as a piggery attendant in a progeny grow-out piggery site. Individuals in these roles are required to perform a range of animal care and welfare tasks and may work independently or under supervision.
To complete their role they require a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. Once you have successfully completed the Certificate III in Pork Production you will have gained the job ready skills to perform effectively in this sector of the pork production industry.
