Whether it's pursuing a bright career in flower farming or sowing seeds, the Certificate III in Production Horticulture will set students up for success in their chosen field. Students will come away with a broad range of practical skills and knowledge in crop production, plant care, and sustainable practices. This qualification prepares graduates for a range of roles within the horticulture sector, contributing to efficient and sustainable food production.
This course is currently available as part of the Free TAFE scheme but is subject to eligibility requirements and may change in the future.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB)an online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
- Undertake a Pre-training review interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
- Prospective workplace students need to be employed a minimum of 3 days per week in the production horticulture industry. Students will need to provide their Employer's ABN during the enrolment process.
- Prospective Traineeship or Apprenticeship students are required to apply through an Apprenticeship Network Provider with their employer to organise their apprenticeship contract before applying for this course.
