Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform advanced diagnostic tasks in the automotive retail, service and repair industry. This qualification provides specialized training in diagnosing complex faults in light vehicles, including advanced systems such as engine management, transmissions, and driveline systems. Through a combination of practical and theoretical learning, students will enhance their ability to identify, analyse, and rectify mechanical issues.
Graduates will be well-prepared to take on leadership roles within the automotive industry, offering expert diagnostic services.
Those undertaking the Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis must have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
