Certificate IV in Building and Construction
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed for professionals in the building and construction industry wanting to apply for a Low-rise Builders License or to advance their knowledge to acquire a higher-level building and construction position. It is suitable for, but not limited to; Carpenters, Bricklayers, Leading Hands, Building Estimators, Site and/or Project Managers.
Successful completion of this course will provide you with the technical and managerial skills that meets the needs of builders and managers of small to medium sized building businesses or individuals requiring a Low-Rise Builder Licence or Site Manger/Supervisor.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must be 18 years or older and will be required to demonstrate the required level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills.
- Whilst there is no formal pre-requisite required, it is recommended that you have completed a Certificate III in a Construction Trade or, have extensive knowledge and have worked in the construction industry for a minimum of 2 years.
