Certificate IV in Employment Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our CHC41115 Certificate IV in Employment Services qualification reflects the role of individuals who provide employment services to both job seekers and employers. They use specialised knowledge to support job seekers in locating, securing and maintaining employment and to assist employers in meeting their recruitment needs.
Upon successfully completing this nationally recognised qualification, students should be able to:
- use targeted communication skills to build relationships
- collect, analyse and apply labour market information
- monitor and improve contracted employment services
- work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
The following will be required for the enrolment process:
- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- verifiable identification documents
- completion of the LLN assessment.
Students will require access toappropriate technology and internet ifthe materials are delivered online.

- QLD Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the QLD Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
The program delivers training to help individuals develop the higher-level skills needed to secure employment, advance their careers, or progress to further education and training to undertake university or tertiary qualifications. This program is subsidised by the Queensland government, under the Career Boost General Training Pathway Program. The following Student Co-Contribution fees apply, varying based on student eligibility status:
- Concession: $21.00 per qualification or $1.50 per Unit of Competency
- Non-concession: $42.00 per qualification or $3.00 per Unit of Competency
- Non-Subsidised Online or self-study option: $5,600
- Non-Subsidised Price (Full Fee): $7,000
To be eligible for funding, students must be:
- A permanent Queensland resident
- Aged 15 or older and not currently attending school
- An Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent residents (including humanitarian entrants), or temporary resident with the right visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
- Not currently be enrolled in a Qualification, even if it is on hold or deferred, whether funded by DTET or not (foundation skills qualifications do not count).
- Not already have a certificate IV or higher qualification (including tertiary qualification) completed within the last 10 years (qualifications completed as a school student and foundation skills qualifications do not count);
- Not exceed a maximum of two government-funded apprenticeships/traineeships within a 10-yearperiod.
