The SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality qualification is designed to equip workplace-based trainees and employees who are employed in a hospitality supervisor role in industry with the necessary skills to perform the job role of a hospitality supervisor or manager. This qualification provides a pathway to work in supervisory roles within organisations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs and licensed cafés.
The course is designed to give learners the necessary skills and knowledge to plan, monitor and evaluate the work of team members. They may operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.
