Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of chefs and cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Candidates must be 18 years of age or above at the time of application. Please note, SITE does not enrol overseas students under eighteen (18) years of age into our CRICOS approved courses.
SITE requires all candidates entering this course to have completed Australian Year 12 or its overseas equivalent qualification or an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III or higher qualification.
