Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of chefs and cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems. This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops, or to run a small business in these sectors.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants must also be aged 18 years or above.
Achieve a minimum of 75%-85% in SCM’s Determining Suitability Assessment (DSA). For direct entry into Certificate III in Commercial Cookery without additional support, the student must achieve a minimum of 85% and 90% in SCM’s DSA.

About Sunshine College of Management
Sunshine College of Management (SCM) is a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering courses to international students in Commercial Cookery, and Hospitality. Our motto is that ‘students learn best by doing,’ that’s why our training environments are so vibrant and student friendly. Our staff are always available to lend a helping hand with any problems students may be experiencing on both a personal and academic level that assist students to fulfill their career goals. As an RTO, SCM is responsible for the quality of the training and assessment in compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, and for the issuance of the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) certification documentation.
