Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management qualification is designed for people already working in administration, team leader or minor management positions who provide leadership and guidance to others and have some responsibility for the output of others on their team.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level are likely to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They may also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Completion of Year 12 of a 12 year school system; or
- Completion of Year 10 of a 12 year school system with some post-high school study or 4 years work experience in a business environment; or
- Completion of Certificate III or above (AQF)
