Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Do you enjoy working in a fast paced, multi skilled healthcare environment? HLT47715 Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting will give you the ability to assist medical practitioners in a range of medical and administrative tasks.
During the course you will learn how to undertake medical procedures such as ECG and Holter Monitoring, perform blood and non-blood collection and assist with medical specimen collection. You will also learn administrative skills such as medical accounting and how to maintain patient records, stock and equipment, the use of appropriate medical terminology, how to communicate effectively and a vast range of other skills.
Students usually complete their studies in 4-5 months.
