The Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work is an accredited course designed to help you use your lived experience with mental health issues to assist others. Through teachers with their own lived experience of mental health, you’ll develop therapeutic communication and coaching skills, as well as knowledge of current legislation affecting the operation of mental health services, including the NDIS. This course will prepare you to become a peer worker or carer peer in the mental health sector. Upon successful completion, you’ll be qualified to provide support and hope to others with mental health issues.
