Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is for personnel in supervisor roles of surface extraction operations, such as an open cut mine or quarry.
Quarry Managers of a Tier 2 quarry are required to hold this qualification (including the competency 'RIIERR401E Apply and monitor surface operations emergency preparedness') by 1 October 2024. For more information on the requirements for Quarry Managers see the NSW Resources Regulator Guide.
