This qualification reflects the role of business or practice managers who manage the operation of small to medium-sized health practices. A formal qualification in practice management will equip you to manage budgets and financial plans, health billing and accounting systems, and legal and ethical compliance. In addition, you will learn about the health industry, along with front line management and leadership skills. TAFE Queensland will be there to support you every step of the way through our flexible delivery mode, including online learning resources, and one-on-one email and phone support.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to seek employment, or advance in your current role, as a practice manager. It will also give you the foundation knowledge to pursue further studies in your field.
