Fire Warden
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)For public students we offer a cluster Fire Course which includes; Chief Fire Warden, Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher Training. The clustered Fire Warden Course provides participants with an understanding of workplace emergency response procedures and the communication systems to support emergency response procedures. This unit has been developed to cover the broad range of emergencies and workplaces as considered in Australian Standard 3745-2010.
The course will allow the participant to understand confining small workplace emergencies and the competency required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency incident area.
This course is recommended for all nominated evacuation staff, chief fire wardens, fire wardens, supervisors and managers. The course is also be recommended to anyone who may be required to use a fire extinguisher at home or in the workplace.
