Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This short course comprising of one unit of competency focuses on the skills and knowledge required to comply with personal hygiene, maintain food safety, contribute to cleanliness of food handling areas and dispose of food.

Work Placement
Practical placement: 10 hoursThe course is delivered in a blended format and includes face to face (classroom)/ online (live webinars), self-paced (learning materials on Moodle) and face to face (practical placement/workplace).

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Be at least 18 years’ old
- Have satisfactorily completed Year 11 or equivalent
