Grid-connected Battery Storage Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) The Grid-connected Battery Storage Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set is the pathway for licenced electricians to become accredited designers and installers of grid-connected battery storage. This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to design and install quality grid-connected battery storage systems for your customers. It is recommended that you complete the UEESS00194 Grid-connected Photovoltaic Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set prior to enrolment into this course, however older qualifications will be considered.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

• There are no mandated entry requirements.

Applicants must hold an 'Unrestricted Electrician's Licence' , issued in an Australian State or Territory. 4th year Electrotechnology apprentice may be consider for this course, if they have completed UEEEL0039 Design, Install, and verifiy compliance and functionality of general electrical installations; or UEERE0051 Apply electrical principals to renewable energy design completed and provide a statement of attainment. Prerequisites:- Statement of Attainment for UEERE0061 Design Grid Connect Photovoltaic power supply systems; and UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for Grid Connect Photovoltaic & Battery storage systems Additional requirements may apply.
