This option is ideal if you're wanting to pursue further research as you will meet the eligibility requirements for a PhD. Explore epidemiology, social and behavioural determinants of health, health systems, environmental and physical determinants of health, as well as health promotion.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Entry requirements

  • Completed a 3-year or 4-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in the area of health with a 4.8 GPA or higher; or
  • completed a 3-year or 4-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a different discipline with a 4.8 GPA or higher, and completed 1 year of full-time work experience in a healthcare setting; or
  • completed UniSQ's Graduate Certificate of Public Health or Graduate Diploma of Public Health with a 4.8 GPA or higher.

English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

All students must provide the following documents prior to commencing clinical placements:

  • Blue Card or Working with Children Check
  • Australian Police Check certificate
  • Resume (CV)
  • UniSQ Student Declaration
  • UniSQ Placement Request Form.
