Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This hands-on course provides you with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to local emergencies and incidents in the dynamic resources, industrial, and infrastructure industries. It prepares participants to take control in critical situations. Throughout the course, participants will learn how to implement detailed response plans, monitor emergency situations, take precautionary measures to ensure safety, use various emergency response equipment, provide initial first aid, and support formal relief efforts until the emergency is resolved.
Whether you’re acting as a member of an emergency response team or in a role requiring emergency management, this course will give you the confidence and skills to act effectively in high-pressure environments. It is recommended that participants have prior experience or are currently working in these industries. Additionally, participants will develop an understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirements at the Commonwealth, State, and Territory levels.
