Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally recognised course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to operate effectively as part of a rescue team in road crash and industrial incidents.
Designed for emergency responders, volunteers, and those in high-risk industries, this training prepares individuals to access, stabilise, and extricate casualties from a range of vehicles and industrial machinery.
Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience using specialist rescue equipment to manage complex extrications. Training scenarios reflect real-world challenges, covering risk assessment and scene management, vehicle and casualty stabilisation, extrication techniques using hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual rescue tools, coordination with emergency services and medical personnel, Work Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, and preserving incident evidence.
