The Certificate III Dental Assistant course is for anybody who is interested in learning the skills and techniques required to become a dental assistant. At Blue Stone Medical & Professional, it is our goal to help each student who takes this class, learn the skills needed to become a dental assistant and we also teach each student how to find employment within the industry. Our Certificate III Individual Support Ageing course provides students with the knowledge, skills and training necessary to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) or personal care assistant (PCA) in the disability sector, as a community support worker or a community care worker, among various other professions as well.

Our Certification III Individual Support teaches students how to have a productive, long term career in the community service's industry. Whether it is working as a community support worker, as a personal care assistant (PCA) or as an assistant in nursing (AIN) for individuals who are ageing or disabled.

Our Certificate IV Ageing Support course is designed for students interested in furthering their skills and knowledge of individual support and community services, particularly for ageing individuals who require additional health assistance. We have a state-of-the-art campus and are fully equipped with the necessary equipment for the course.

Our Certification II Skills for Work & Vocational Pathways focuses on how to look for and find employment within your desired profession. Our dedicated instructors teach students how to effectively establish employment goals and work each day toward achieving those goals. We focus on the steps involved in the employment process and how to overcome any barriers that might stand in the way.

Our Certificate II Health Support Services is intended for students who require a pathway through vocational training into a Certificate III Individual Support. The electives taken are to enable each student to receive up to 4 direct credits for CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support and HLT37215 Certificate III Pathology Collection. Our Certificate III Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care reflects the role of individuals working in healthcare support roles in diverse locations, including urban, rural and remote settings. It is specific to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who work under general supervision as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.

At this level, work involves the provision of generalist health services and the use of some discretion and judgment within the parameters of clearly defined plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.

The goal of this course is to impart knowledge, skills and practical experience for various collections such as phlebotomy, venipuncture and collections other than blood. The program strives to teach workplace health and safety, infection control, laboratory systems, customer service, personal conduct, medical terminology and much more.

We offer an extensive first aid course for employees and others who might be required or strongly encouraged to take the course. Our course curriculum covers first aid response, life support, management of casualties and other initial tasks before medical assistance arrives.

Our Certificate I Life Skills addresses core personal development and work-related competencies. It also addresses competencies associated with employment options selected from administration, horticulture and hospitality.
