The electives taken are to enable each student to receive up to 4 direct credits for CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support and HLT37215 Certificate III Pathology Collection. It is specific to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who work under general supervision as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
At this level, work involves the provision of generalist health services and the use of some discretion and judgment within the parameters of clearly defined plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
