There is currently so much work available in the Security industry in our regional locations, from large events, patrols, minesite guard work, static guards, shopping centres and bars and clubs there is so much you can do!

Learn at your own pace and you decide when you want to train. To gain your security licence you have to complete 120 hours of face to face training.

If you are time poor or have other commitments this is the only way you are going to get your security licence. This is ideal for university students, FIFO workers or part time workers.

This qualification is for security supervisors and security business managers who may engage in sub-contracting arrangements for personnel and clients. The CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations is for licensed security guards and crowd controllers who need specialist skills in cash-in-transit or the use of weapons and restraints. Also delivered in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, this training course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency situation at home or while out and about.

You will learn to provide life support and the management of a casualty of any age until the arrival of medical assistance.

As well as learning to respond to an unconscious casualty, this course will outline the chain of survival, DRSABCD action plan, and will deliver the skills required to use an automated external defibrillator.

This unit teaches the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an advanced first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

You will be taught by experts to present a baton confidently in a conflict situation, to use the baton to defend yourself and others, and to direct a person within the requirements of the law.

You will learn to assess and determine when to use a firearm in response to life threatening situations. This unit is required for employment within Cash in Transit operations.

Once enrolled you will learn how to determine when to use capsicum spray to respond to a threatening situation. This includes your ability to assess the current and potential risk within those circumstances.

During this unit you will be asked to assess the necessity of using handcuffs and the correct procedures for applying handcuffs safely and securely.

You will be required to display your ability to: Present handcuffs, Apply handcuffs, Direct persons, and Evaluate response.

We have developed and customised a nationally accredited training program to address COVID-19 requirements which we are running exclusively.

Security personnel are seeing their roles expand as they assist companies and communities in combating COVID-19. They are performing temperature screening, monitoring personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and physical distancing, managing building occupancy, controlling line-ups, and even assisting with contact tracing.

This training has been customised to persons who are currently working or who are looking for employment in a role in the security industry where they are required to apply infection control policies and procedures. Participants will be equipped with skills and knowledge to follow organisational infection prevention and control procedures.

You will understand transmission-based precautions and how to respond to infection risks. This course is embedded with training that aligns with the Australian Federal Government’s strategies to flatten the curve.
