Nationally Recognised Higher EducationHuman services practitioners are advocates and activist leaders. They are committed to social, political, environmental and cultural justice and have a career edge, being prepared to work in a number of diverse and rewarding roles.
Human services practitioners may provide support to individuals, families and communities who are experiencing social or economic adversity, working directly with clients providing interpersonal support, advocating with community, and by providing the direct delivery of services and support.
They may work in policy roles, collaborating with key stakeholders, government, and non-government agencies to implement policy and programs.
QUT’s Bachelor of Human Services prepares graduates to lead change that improves social justice and human rights, and promotes equitable and accessible services.
